MPL Model Library

The MPL Model Library is divided into two sections:

  1. The MPL Model Library (Examples), on this page, contains examples of various model formulations from popular LP textbooks available to view and examine from our web site. Most of these examples are fairly small but they are formulated in such a way that they expose the students to the general features of a modeling language. Below you will find a list of the models that are currently available.

  2. The MPL Model Library (Cases) contains several model formulation cases containing data sets based on real world problems that can be used as another source of homework assignments that are larger and more difficult.

  3. The MPL Model Library (Samples), on this page, contains several model formulations that our found in the distribution that comes with MPL/OptiMax. These models are fairly diverse in ttypes and application areas.
