The Solver:
- The “optimizer” is CPLEX (top-rated optimization code that finds optimal solutions to the problem)
- Codes have improved sufficiently so that solving is no longer a difficulty
- Uses a modeling language to automatically generate the problem
- Modeling language automatically retrieves data from ACCESS and puts solutions back into ACCESS or other files.
